The client is a construction company well-established on the Vaud Riviera, recognized for the quality and reliability of its services. Primarily active on local projects, it operates in both civil engineering and building, with a balanced activity between the two fields. The company undertakes diverse construction sites for private clients, communities, and regional partners, relying on a long-term trust-based approach. With about 25 employees, mainly active on the field, it continues its activity in a stable environment and today wishes to strengthen its team. In this context, it has entrusted us with the recruitment of a Technician / Work site manager Civil Engineering - Building. In this role, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering and building projects, from initial phases to completion. You will operate independently on various sites, with direct responsibility for technical and financial oversight, as well as coordination with different stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: Develop estimates and submissions, manage calls for tenders, and conduct technical interviews. Consult, compare, and participate in supplier and subcontractor selection. Plan and direct construction sites in coordination with the project manager. Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors on sites. Ensure safety on sites and ensure compliance with current standards and regulations. Guarantee project compliance with applicable Swiss laws, directives, and standards. Maintain regular contact with partner companies and stakeholders. Participate in and resolve technical issues as they arise. Monitor costs, timelines, and quality of execution of works. Ensure financial follow-up of sites, including measurements, invoices, monthly reports, and profiles. You hold a technical degree in civil engineering, building, or related fields, and have experience in work site management, follow-up of construction sites, and project management as part of your background. Comfortable with estimates, submissions, and calls for tenders management, you know how to coordinate technical, financial, and organizational aspects. You work autonomously, reliably, and in a structured manner. Your approach is professional, solution-oriented, and quality-focused.
