Technical writer (IT/Infrastructure/Applications) - 6+ months - Remote - Start ASAP
For our international client, we are currently looking for an experienced technical writer in the IT Infrastructure and applications space.
Your main task is to support the client in writing technical documents, target operating models and to support the Infrastructure and Applications team in the creation, amendment, and replacement of technical documents.
Experience in the IT, Infrastructure space is essential.
Tasks:
- Act as technical writer
- Support the Infrastructure and Applications team in the creation, amendment and replacement of technical documents
- Write technical documents such as target operating models and disaster recovery plans
- Write new technical project templates
- Replace or update old templates and documents
- Organise documentation in shared systems
- Review where documents and templates are stored and accessible for the team
Requirements:
- Long-term project experience as technical writer in the IT space
- Project experience in writing technical documents in the infrastructure and IT and or applications space
- Strong experience with Sharepoint and JIRA
- Experience with ServiceNow, Office365 package incl. strong PowerPoint experience
- Experience with AI tools to automate process/creation of documents - nice to have
- Fluency in English
- Nearshore candidates preferred
Project details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: initial contract until the end of the year but overall 6-12 months
- Workload: 5 days per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Languages: Fluency in English
