To strengthen our team, we are looking for a technically experienced individual who enjoys developing solutions in collaboration with customers and acting as the key contact between the customer, development, design, production, and quality.
Technical Sales Manager (M/F)
Your mission
In this key role, you are the technical sparring partner for our customers and suppliers, supporting them in the development and implementation of demanding solutions around the mainspring and associated components. You engage on equal terms with the development departments, technical offices, and constructors of our customers and suppliers, advise on technical matters, and coordinate collaboration with internal departments, from development to series production, including industrialisation.
Your tasks include in particular:
- Technical advice and support for existing customers
- Analysis and evaluation of technical issues
- Development of solutions in collaboration with customers and internal specialists
- Coordination between the customer, supplier, development, design, production, and quality
- Support for development and industrialisation projects
- Assessment of the technical feasibility of new requirements and applications
- Active participation in the continuous development of products and processes
- Development of sustainable and trust-based customer relationships
Your profile
For this demanding role, we are looking for a personality with a solid technical understanding of the watchmaking industry and its manufacturing processes, an analytical mind, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and understandably. Ideally, you are between 30 and 45 years old, comfortable both in technical discussions and direct exchanges with customers, and able to bring together different interests around solid and viable solutions.
You bring:
- Training as a watchmaker, watchmaking constructor, or comparable technical training in the watchmaking industry, complemented by solid knowledge in business management or corresponding further education
- Experience in development, design, industrialisation, or management of technical projects
- Native French speaker
- Good knowledge of German is an advantage
- Enjoyment in exchanging with customers and technical specialists
- Strong analytical skills and interdisciplinary thinking
- High sense of responsibility and solution orientation
