Job Description

Main mission of the role:
o Technical development of new products, design and monitoring of technical files.
o Management of cross-functional R&D projects; casing and movement.

Task description:
o Management of cross-functional projects:
- Watch casing
- Mechanical and quartz movements
- Data management system (PLM)
o Development of innovative concepts in partnership with our various Swatch Group entities
o Development of new products: cases, dials, hands and straps in collaboration with the different Longines departments and our external partners
o Creation and management of technical files throughout the product life cycle
o Technical support to the various Longines departments

Profile

You hold a HES engineering degree or equivalent.
You have additional project management training and confirmed experience (5 to 10 years) in a similar position.
Field experience in industrialisation and/or manufacturing of watch components.
A very good command of volumetric and surface CAD as well as proficiency in the "Catia" software are essential.
Mastery of finite element simulation, Abaqus-Forge as well as Dassault Systèmes’ PLM 3DExperience is an asset.
Good knowledge of strength of materials.
Knowledge of SAP
