Beschreibung

This role leads system engineering for power plant conversion, modification and upgrade projects, as well as new product introductions, within the power generation sector.

Tasks

• Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, setting priorities and supporting project execution
• Guide system and process design, including process flow diagrams and functional specifications
• Define operating concepts, protection strategies, and control concept narratives
• Oversee bottoming cycle capability studies and review technical outputs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen project planning and risk management
• Use root cause analysis to turn field experience into product improvements
• Maintain tools, work instructions, and process controls to improve engineering consistency

Profile

• Significant experience in system engineering for conversion and upgrade projects within the power industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine, steam turbine, or heat recovery steam generator and water-steam cycle system engineering
• Experience with risk assessment methods such as FMEA, HAZOP, and functional safety
• Proven experience leading technical work across global teams
• Strong English communication skills
