As part of strengthening the IT teams of one of our clients, an international private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a Technical Consultant specialised in API integration to support digital transformation projects and interconnection of banking systems.
Technical Consultant – API Integration | Private Banking (M/F)
Your missions
Within the IT teams, you will work on integration and evolution projects of banking platforms.
In this capacity, you will be required to:
- Support business and technical teams in the integration of solutions via APIs.
- Analyse technical needs and propose suitable integration solutions.
- Configure, test and validate exchanges between applications.
- Carry out integration tests using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Analyse exchange flows (REST APIs, JSON, XML) and resolve technical incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure and external partners.
- Participate in technical documentation as well as continuous improvement of integration processes.
- Be the technical contact for the various stakeholders throughout the projects.
Profile sought
- Higher education in computer science.
- 3 to 8 years of experience on application integration or API projects.
- Mastery of REST APIs, JSON, XML.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of security mechanisms (OAuth2, Tokens, certificates...).
- Experience in integration testing and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of integration architectures and exchanges between applications.
- Ability to operate in a client-oriented environment and communicate with both technical and functional contacts.
- Professional English is essential.
Assets
- Experience in banking environment, Wealth Management or Financial Services.
- Knowledge of a Core Banking System (Temenos, Avaloq, Finnova or equivalent).
- Experience with Digital Banking, Open Banking or banking APIs.
- Basic SQL, log analysis and microservices architectures.
