With nearly 5000 employees, the Acute Medicine Department (DMA) includes the services of anesthesiology, clinical pharmacology and toxicology, intensive care, and emergencies. It fulfills a quadruple mission through its services that provide their expertise in frequent interaction with all the Geneva University Hospitals, with the aim of ensuring the best possible care.The emergency department is a transversal service with the mission to welcome patients 24/7, regardless of the nature of their problem, to ensure rapid and effective care in order to direct individuals towards the most appropriate facility. The emergency department also provides coordinated emergency medical assistance at the cantonal level and manages major events, while being a reference service for the canton's structures.As a Care Team Leader (RES), you exercise your leadership in a context of care. Through your qualities, capabilities, and open-mindedness, you promote interdisciplinary work and develop team spirit to guarantee the quality and efficiency of the care provided. You coordinate and organize the proper allocation of caregiving staff and define team schedules and the distribution of tasks according to the specific needs of your unit. You ensure individual follow-up of team members and guarantee feedback on their performance in a supportive manner. You leverage your sense of diplomacy to manage disagreements that may arise and adapt your approach to your team, colleagues, and the overall service. In collaboration with specialists, as a member of the DMA management team, you play a role as an ambassador for the vision of care and contribute to its promotion. You get involved and participate in the transversal management of the emergency service in your role as a manager. You hold a bachelor's degree in nursing (HES) or a recognized nursing diploma and have completed or are planning a management course (CAS in management). You possess an EPD-ES diploma in acute medicine. You have five years of experience in the nursing function within an acute medicine service. You have previous management experience, ideally with at least 2 years as a manager.You have a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and prioritization. You demonstrate proactivity, are a source of suggestions while being capable of meeting challenges. Team spirit is an indispensable value for you.
