The Real Estate department manages, maintains and develops EHL’s infrastructure. Its role is to ensure efficient, safe and sustainable facilities, while leading improvement and investment projects that support the experience of students, staff and campus visitors.

Team Leader - HVAC



The mission of the Team Leader HVAC is to ensure the reliability, performance and sustainability of the campus heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary installations. They guarantee proactive, service-oriented maintenance, coordinate technical teams and external contractors, and contribute to the energy optimisation of the infrastructure to support EHL’s academic and operational activities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead, organise and develop a team of technicians within a culture of quality, safety and service.
  • Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the availability of HVAC installations.
  • Coordinate interventions of internal teams and external contractors while ensuring the quality of services.
  • Manage emergency interventions and effectively prioritise actions in a demanding environment.
  • Create, update and optimise maintenance plans to improve the reliability of installations.
  • Lead small technical projects as well as the administrative follow-up of quotes, orders and interventions.
  • Use and optimise CMMS tools to improve planning, intervention tracking and service performance.
  • Contribute to the campus energy optimisation by identifying deviations and proposing improvement actions.
  • Analyse the condition of HVAC installations and propose sustainable solutions ensuring their long-term performance.
  • Act as the campus HVAC technical referent and contribute to the infrastructure renewal and investment strategy.

Your profile:

  • You hold a technical qualification at CFC, ES, HES level or equivalent in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary or related field.
  • You have 5 to 10 years of proven experience in HVAC maintenance, ideally in a complex tertiary environment (campus, hospitality, healthcare or equivalent).
  • You have successful experience in leading technical teams and coordinating external contractors.
  • You have a good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance challenges as well as the operation of complex technical installations.
  • You have experience using a CMMS tool or the ability to adopt it quickly.
  • You are recognised for your sense of service, responsiveness and pragmatism.
  • You are capable of leading, organising and motivating a team with a focus on quality, safety and service.
  • You are comfortable managing priorities, decision-making and coordinating multiple activities.
  • You are field-oriented and actively contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of installation performance.
  • You are a native French speaker and have good knowledge of English (B2).
