HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Reporting to an Accounting Manager and based in Fribourg, you will be responsible for the following main tasks:
Accounting Management and Closing
Lead and coordinate the accounting operations of the entities within scope to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with deadlines
Prepare and record closing entries
Ensure critical review of tasks performed by GL and Senior GL accountants
Prepare, explain and present the monthly reporting to the Department Director
Document, monitor and ensure the implementation of the internal control system in force
Leadership and Team Management
Manage and lead a small team of GL and Senior GL accountants
Provide coaching to the team and support the skills development of employees, while supporting their professional growth
Provide technical leadership and guide the team in resolving complex accounting issues
Set priorities, coordinate activities and ensure the achievement of departmental objectives
Internal Relations and Projects
Be the primary contact for our internal clients (branches, houses, functions) on general accounting matters
Lead and contribute to the department's continuous improvement projects
Promote and ensure the application of the Group's accounting rules

Experience, Education and Professional Skills:
Federal accounting diploma or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with GL responsibilities, preferably in an international environment
Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, CO)
Proficiency in IT tools (SAP, advanced Excel)
Native French speaker with excellent knowledge of English
Experience in team management is a plus
