The Undergraduate School at EHL Hospitality Business School is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive and immersive education in international hospitality management. It offers a Bachelor of Science program that combines rigorous academic coursework with practical training, including internships and hands-on workshops, to prepare students for leadership roles in the global service industry. Teaching Support Coordinator

The mission of the Teaching Support Coordinator is to coordinate teaching assistants (TAs) to ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning experience. This role involves forecasting, hiring, allocation, performance management, and coordination with various stakeholders to maintain the overall quality of the BOSC Program and other Undergraduate Programs.

What will you do?

  • Supervise the forecasting, hiring, and allocation processes for TAs, including attracting applicants, selection, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool with input from HR Business Partner (HR BP) and support from Academic Support Manager and Associate Deans LSN-SGP.
  • Ensure the coordination and collaboration between TAs, course units, and Course Representatives to align courses across campuses, sections, and classes.
  • Oversee TAs' performance appraisals, well-being at work, training & development, rewarding, and retention or outplacement.
  • Enhance students' learning experiences and success, as well as teachers' teaching experiences.
  • Contribute to the Undergraduate Programs Team's missions that impact course unit alignment across campuses, sections, and classes.
  • Contribute to the development of new Undergraduate Success Programs.

Who are you ?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, management, or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience, including 1 year in a similar role within a complex, multicultural academic institution.
  • You have a strong understanding of how Teaching Assistants contribute to teaching quality and student experience, and you know how to coordinate, coach, and support them effectively.
  • You have a deep understanding of the EHL context, including its internal structure and academic specificities, enabling you to navigate and contribute effectively within this unique institutional environment.
  • You thrive in a diverse environment where intercultural awareness and empathy are key to maintaining positive working relationships.
  • You are highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing processes that involve multiple stakeholders with different and sometimes competing interests.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to mediate and facilitate collaboration between faculty, students, and support staff.
  • You enjoy solving operational and pedagogical challenges and take initiative in improving workflows and practices to benefit the learning community.
  • You are digitally savvy, proficient in MS Office, and Learning Management Systems, more precisely Moodle.
  • You have customer-facing experience, ideally in an educational or service-oriented context.
  • You are fluent in French and English (C1).
