Teacher of French \- Primary School, Early Years and Key Stage 1
This is a maternity leave replacement (August 2026 to February 2027\)
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French language lessons to Primary school students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the French language curriculum.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Encourage a love of learning and cultural appreciation among students.
Qualifications
Fluency in French, with excellent communication skills in English
Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and experience in teaching French to Primary school students
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for education
Available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss national or EU passport holder) is essential
