Your areas of activity with us
- You teach in the Mechatronics field of the bachelor programme Automotive and Vehicle Engineering; you deliver courses in electrical engineering, measurement technology, and on batteries and electrical energy converters.
- You support students in their project work and supervise bachelor and master theses; you lead the E-Mobility LAB.
- You independently acquire and carry out research projects in the field of vehicle mechatronics.
- You initiate and organise conferences, seminars, and laboratory visits.
- You support student recruitment and manage public relations by representing the speciality area and BFH to interested parties and our partners.
Your background, ideally
- Degree from a university at MSc/HES/EPFL level in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering; extensive professional experience in vehicle engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanics as well as electrical drives, power electronics, and electrical machines; strong technical skills in digital data processing.
- Enjoyment in interacting with young students, experience in higher education; the university didactics certificate can be obtained internally at BFH.
- Experience in acquiring and managing applied research projects, network of contacts in the national and/or international automotive sector.
- Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the other language (languages of instruction: French and German); professional communication in English.
