Information:

In this position, we offer insights into the aspects of discovery and characterization of biotherapeutics in a dynamic team within the biotech company. You will be working on the design, development and functional testing of assays ( SPR, ELISA) for the characterization of binding properties of innovative antibody-based therapeutics.

Your Responsibilities:

• Screen antibody candidates by High-throughput SPR
• Determine binding affinities and kinetics ( SPR), or potency and efficacy ( ELISA) of antibodies, antibody fragments and multi-specific antibody-based proteins to their targets
• Develop assays to measure binding affinity, kinetics, potency and efficacy (SPR and ELISA)
• Maintain accurate written records of research activities including regularly updating electronic data and reporting data in written and oral presentations at different levels

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen on developing and learning new techniques, and who has a very accurate working style.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, and/or BSc/MSc, in biology or related fields
• High motivation in learning new techniques and improving scientific skills
• High accuracy and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality and the ability to work independently on diverse challenges
• Hands-on experience in handling analytical protein samples or conducting SPR-based kinetic measurements will be considered as beneficial
• Experience with the characterization of proteins in ELISA is beneficial
• Good computer (Windows, MS Office) and communication skills
• Sound oral and written English
