Job Description
The Directorate General for Post-Compulsory Education (DGEP) is responsible for education between the end of compulsory schooling and higher education. It offers training within 16 grammar schools and 13 vocational schools and brings together more than 3,400 employees. To strengthen the Information Systems Unit (USI), we are looking for a Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage the evolution of IT architectures by integrating advanced technologies, ensuring their security, interoperability and scalability while defining technological standards and integrating best IT practices.
- Ensure the availability and resilience of IT services by implementing advanced monitoring strategies, disaster recovery plans and optimisation mechanisms to prevent service interruptions and ensure operational continuity.
- Design and deploy digital evolution and transformation projects by defining technical specifications, ensuring system interoperability, and integrating innovative technologies to improve scalability, performance and cybersecurity of IT services.
- Supervise and harmonise IT operations within institutions by standardising configurations, optimising administration, and developing comprehensive technical documentation to ensure technology sustainability and facilitate collaboration between technical teams.
- Contribute to incident management, lead problem management and continuous improvement by providing advanced technical support, identifying and correcting root causes of malfunctions, and automating processes to improve stability and security of IT environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in IT (or equivalent qualification).
- Certification or training in one or more technologies.
- Systems architecture/expertise: 5 years of experience.
- IT systems security: 5 years of experience.
- English reading, speaking and writing (level B2).
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL processes.
