System Engineer SRE - 48-month mission - 100%

Your role

As a System Engineer SRE, you work within the Infrastructure team of our client, where you are the technical referent for the operation, reliability and evolution of Kubernetes platforms. You contribute to implementing a DevOps / SRE-oriented approach, ensuring availability, performance and maintainability of environments.

You play a key role in structuring automation and Infrastructure as Code practices, as well as in upskilling internal teams, with a view to knowledge transfer and sustainability.

Your mission

• You are responsible for the administration of the Kubernetes platform in Infrastructure as Code format, ensuring reliable, reproducible and industrialised practices.
• You maintain, develop and structure the various repositories, ensuring their coherence, quality and documentation.
• You support projects in designing and implementing CI – Build pipelines, structuring continuous integration steps.
• You support projects in implementing CD – Release pipelines, ensuring reliable and automated deployments.
• You assist teams in designing Infrastructure as Code pipelines, integrating best automation and versioning practices.
• You support projects in developing Kubernetes manifests and Helm Charts, contributing to standardisation and deployment quality.
• You carry out support and operation activities, participating in operational maintenance and incident resolution.
• You contribute to knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal engineers, participating in structuring a future SRE team.

Your profile

• Senior / Expert Engineer, you have proven experience in SRE / DevOps environments, with a strong focus on reliability, automation and operation of critical platforms.
• You have excellent command of Kubernetes, its ecosystem and plugins, as well as containerisation concepts (Docker).
• You possess solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code, notably with tools such as Terraform / OpenTofu and Ansible, as well as automation via PowerShell, Bash and Python.
• You master the design of YAML pipelines for CI, CD and IaC chains, as well as environment management via tools like Azure DevOps.
• You have excellent knowledge of Linux environments and good knowledge of Windows environments.
• You have good knowledge of Cloud Native components (CNCF), infrastructure architecture (network, storage) and observability tools, related to reliability and monitoring challenges.
• You are comfortable with collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• You demonstrate a strong DevOps / SecOps mindset, great autonomy and the ability to quickly grasp varied technical environments.
• You are proficient in French (C2 level) and English (B2 level); knowledge of German is an asset.
• You are recognised for your team spirit, your ability to share knowledge and your commitment to evolving practices and teams.
