Role Overview Role Title: Supplier Quality Engineer / Consultant (German-Speaking Lead Auditor) Contract Type: Contract Industry: Medical Devices (Implantables) Start Date: November Location / Travel: Germany (preferred) / Switzerland A global medical-device organisation is seeking an experienced German-speaking Supplier Quality Engineer with Certified Lead Auditor status to drive critical Supplier Quality operations and support post-acquisition M&A Quality integration. Focusing primarily on the German supplier base, you will manage audits, resolve quality issues, and ensure seamless regulatory alignment. Key Responsibilities Lead supplier audits and comprehensive quality assessments across Germany. Support QMS and Supplier Quality integration following recent acquisitions. Manage supplier CAPAs, non-conformances, and drive remediation activities to closure. Assess supplier qualification, risk, performance, and overall quality systems. Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and international stakeholders. Provide onsite support in Switzerland alongside regular supplier visits across Germany. Requirements & Qualifications Background: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Technical Experience: Strong background in polymers/chemical materials, ideally within implantable medical devices or other highly regulated industries. Auditing: Certified Lead Auditor status (ISO 13485 strongly preferred). Languages: Fluent in both German and English (mandatory). Interested?
