In a context of evolving risks, professions, and increased demands for technical performance, we are looking for a Head of Property Underwriting (h/f/x) to lead and ensure the excellence of property insurance underwriting, including household, buildings, and commercial insurance, as well as various other tasks assigned to you.In your leadership role, you will take overall responsibility for the department and play a key role in risk management, portfolio performance, and team development:- Technical leadership & underwriting policy - Define, implement, and ensure adherence to the property underwriting policy, in line with the company's overall strategy - Validate complex and non-standard cases - Ensure proactive management of the portfolio (sanitation, premiums, coverages)- Team management & development - Lead and develop your team through inspiring and coaching-oriented leadership - Promote a culture of expertise sharing and continuous learning- Projects & cross-cutting initiatives - Be a driving force in the evolution and development of the business model - Actively contribute to the development of property products, in collaboration with other departments - Ensure active monitoring of market developments, risks, and competition, and stimulate differentiationWhat makes you unique:- Experience in property underwriting, including several years in a managerial or senior responsibility role (insurance, economics, risk management, or equivalent), as well as the implementation of underwriting and renewal policies- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss non-life insurance market- Excellent command of French and GermanYou are an inspiring leader, able to delegate with confidence and create an environment conducive to engagement and performance.
