Job Description

Your mission:

As an STPS Specialist and AEAI Fire Protection Safety Officer, you will join a team of specialists in the fields of health, occupational safety, and fire safety. Your mission will be to develop the areas of CFST in a broad sense and ensure the compliance of services delivered to clients.

You will report directly to the F4S Management and safety engineers, and work closely with various specialists within the company.

Your main tasks:

• Conduct STPS and fire protection compliance audits at clients' premises
• Analyse occupational risks and prepare mandatory safety documents (MSST system audit, hazard identification, evacuation plans, fire protection concepts, etc.)
• Propose prevention solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client
• Deliver occupational health and safety training for clients (employees and managers), and as part of our training programmes
• Organise and supervise evacuation drills
• Assess the compliance of fire protection installations and equipment
• Write expert reports and detailed technical recommendations
• Support clients in implementing our standard CFST solution
• Ensure follow-up of action plans and respect of deadlines
• Collaborate with competent authorities (SECO, CFST, SUVA, cantonal labour inspections and fire police)
• Maintain regulatory monitoring on the evolution of legal bases related to occupational health and safety
• Represent the company to clients and contribute to its reputation for expertise

Profile sought

Qualifications:

• STPS Specialist certificate
• AEAI Fire Protection Safety Officer certificate with ongoing continuing education
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an occupational safety specialist in Switzerland and in fire protection, in a company with particular hazards and fire protection
• In-depth knowledge of legal provisions regarding occupational safety, health protection, and fire protection
• Fluent French, both spoken and written, and technical knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German: an asset
• Flexibility for geographical mobility to meet clients' needs (mainly canton of Geneva)
• Driving licence (car / scooter)
• Swiss nationality or valid permit
