Specialized professional for the Specialized Day Center (Specialized Activity Center / Complex Reception Hub / Complex Reception Service) – Permanent contract between 80% and 100%.Deployed across several sites, the Institution of Lavigny consists of a neurological hospital on two sites, two accommodation departments for adults with disabilities, with intellectual and physical impairments respectively, a specialized school, and a housing sector and department. We are looking for a specialized professional for the Specialized Day Center (Specialized Activity Center / Complex Reception Hub / Complex Reception Service) – Permanent contract between 80% and 100%.At the Institution of Lavigny, at the Specialized Day Center, we support adults on a daily basis who present autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and/or challenging behaviors, including so-called complex situations for which self- and hetero-aggressive behavioral disorders are associated. The Specialized Day Center (Specialized Activity Center / Complex Reception Hub / Complex Reception Service) is open from Monday to Friday (and a few Saturdays per year). Their reality is to accompany men and women from 18 to 80 years old by offering them accessibility to activities.Your missionAs part of the development of our services, we are looking for a specialized professional for our Specialized Day Center (Specialized Activity Center / Complex Reception Hub / Complex Reception Service). The goal is to accompany individuals, through individualized care, outside their place of residence in a reassuring and secure setting.Main responsibilities- Ensure individualized support adapted to the specific needs of each person welcomed.- Design, implement, and evaluate personalized projects and structured activities, developing skills, providing physical and emotional well-being.- Prevent, understand, and manage crisis situations or challenging behaviors by applying adapted approaches.- Collaborate closely with the accommodation teams as well as with the various partners in the network.- Participate in team meetings, institutional reflections, and the drafting of reports and assessments.- Actively contribute to a safe, structuring, and caring environment.Profile- Diploma in social work or a title deemed equivalent.- Confirmed experience with people presenting intellectual disabilities, behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.- Trained or sensitized to the following approaches: Functional, ABA, TEACCH, PECS, AAC (an asset).- Capacity for analysis, stress management, and taking a step back when facing complex situations.- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.- Sense of responsibility and commitment.- Mastery of standard tools and ease in writing.We offer:- Working conditions governed by the collective labor agreement (CCT) of the Vaud parapublic social sector.- A salary in line with the function and compliant with the CCT of the Vaud parapublic sector, accompanied by benefits related to mobility (parking, contribution to public transport costs).- Continuous training and specialized supervision (notably around ASD and challenging behaviors), internal mobility, possible financing of diplomas, and a company restaurant offering varied meals at preferential rates, in a pleasant professional environment favoring exchanges.- A wide choice of sports and relaxation activities (yoga, fitness, aquagym, etc.) as well as access to massages, while enjoying regular company life events.- Flexible and continuous schedules depending on the sectors, with the possibility of part-time work for an optimal balance between professional and private life.Start date: to be agreed upon.Information: Want a new challenge?
