Specialized Case ManagerJob DescriptionThe Cantonal Office for Scholarships and Apprenticeships (OCBE), within the Directorate of Social Aid and Insurance (DIRAAS), is responsible for granting financial aid after compulsory schooling. As a Specialized Case Manager, you will ensure the instruction and processing of applications, calculate grants, manage correspondence related to the sector, handle contacts with beneficiaries, and contribute to the smooth operation of the service.Responsibilities- Establish grant calculations, prepare, sign, and notify decisions regarding study and apprenticeship aid for eligible persons;- Ensure the instruction and processing of scholarship and study loan applications;- Establish correspondence related to the sector for which you are responsible;- Manage contacts with applicants or representatives as well as with partners;- Contribute to the smooth operation of the office by participating in additional tasks assigned to you.For further information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Requirements- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training;- Generalist experience in social insurance required;- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field;- Real tenacity and a developed sense of responsibility;- Reliability and flexibility, ease with numbers;- Excellent organizational skills and perfect management of priorities;- Discretion and absolute respect for confidentiality;- Excellent writing skills and mastery of office tools.WHO ARE WE?The Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS) offers the inhabitants of the Canton of Vaud support and integration measures, accommodation solutions in medico-social institutions, as well as financial aid.
