Social Action Service (SASO) - Specialized Office at 80% (LAMal subsidies and study grants)Social Action Service (SASO) - Cantonal Office for Health Insurance and Study Grants (OCAB)The SASO is responsible for fighting poverty and social exclusion; it organizes the granting of financial aid to the population. Within the SASO, the OCAB's main missions are to examine applications for LAMal subsidies, process LAMal debt claims transmitted by health insurance funds, ensure that all residents of the canton are enrolled in a LAMal health insurance fund, and evaluate eligibility for study grants.MissionsAs part of your activity, you will be involved in the processing of LAMal subsidies (granting, maintenance, reduction, suppression, and refusal) as well as study grants. You will also be responsible for receiving and checking social applications transmitted by the Regional Social Counters (GSR), setting the determining income giving access to aid, and communicating the decision to beneficiaries and/or applicants.Based on data from the population database and the tax office, you will carry out the necessary analyses for processing files, and you will respond to requests and questions from beneficiaries and/or applicants.ProfileHolder of a professional commercial certificate (CFC or equivalent title), you have experience in the field of health insurance and/or study grants. You have generic knowledge in the field of social insurance as well as a solid foundation in accounting and master office tools.Your ease of communication, ability to listen, sense of service, as well as your analytical and synthesis skills are recognized.
