Purchasing SpecialistYour missionAs a Purchasing Specialist, you are responsible for sourcing goods and services for our site. You ensure compliance with quality, cost, and deadline objectives, while closely collaborating with internal and external partners. You also contribute to the department, monitor performance, and ensure that objectives are met.Tasks and responsibilities- Analyze and anticipate the needs for goods and services closely with internal teams.- Manage tender processes and evaluate proposals with a strategic approach and develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.- Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.- Negotiate and optimize contractual terms in line with the company's objectives.- Issue orders and ensure rigorous follow-up until delivery.- Effectively manage disputes and supplier non-conformities.- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.- Maintain up-to-date and reliable supplier databases.Profile- Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, or equivalent.- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of procurement.- Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English; German is a plus.- Mastery of common tools.About you- A self-reliant, meticulous person who enjoys teamwork.- Strong analytical skills, coupled with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.- Ability to plan, prepare, and conduct contractual negotiations with rigor and professionalism.- A keen sense of time management, priorities, and resources.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.Among the benefits at VARO- An indefinite employment contract.- Attractive and competitive working conditions and benefits.- Opportunities for continuous training and internal development prospects.Want to join us?
