Job Description
As a specialised case manager within the registry of the Detention Centre for Minors and Young Adults in Palézieux, you will ensure the complete and autonomous management of detainees' files throughout their detention journey. In this specific context, you contribute to the administrative and judicial monitoring of minors and young adults, working closely with criminal authorities, institutional partners, and various sectors of the establishment.
You contribute to the smooth running of the registry by monitoring deadlines, transfers and authorisations, as well as producing official documents and statistics. You also provide administrative support to the Management, participate in knowledge transfer within the team, and apply the confidentiality and security requirements specific to the penitentiary field.

Responsibilities
Analyse individual situations and process all correspondence received from various criminal authorities and different sectors of the establishment related to detainees. Verify the legal and administrative compliance of documents;
Prepare files for decisions by Management and authorities (releases, transfers, sentence execution, etc.);
Create, update and archive individual detainee files;
Manage visit and hearing authorisations and determine their feasibility: comprehensive analysis of the situation and judgments, decision notice, organisation, coordination and production of associated documents;
Manage the management's diary and organise appointments, meetings, seminars and travel;
Take and draft minutes;
- Establish, develop and maintain contacts with bodies, services, organisations, institutions and persons directly related to SPEN activities and detainees' lives;
Provide training for commercial apprentices within the sector and conduct regular assessments and grading.

Qualifications
Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification;
At least 3 years of proven experience within a criminal justice entity;
Workplace trainer for apprentices (FPT);
Excellent organisational skills;
High discretion in handling sensitive data;
Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and empathy;
Good command of French, both spoken and written;
Proficient in common IT tools.
Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, free from bankruptcy (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and have a clean criminal record. There is a right to consult the criminal record under the Federal Act on the Criminal Record by the hiring authority for this position.
