We are looking for an underwriter who will be the central point of contact. In this role, you process requests by phone and in writing, perform assessments and risk analyses, and ensure management for guarantee and surety insurance. Become a member as well and apply as an Underwriter Guarantee and Surety.What you do- You analyze guarantee insurance requests, including those from large general contractors as well as complex requests, and you are responsible for the issuance, management, and monitoring of policies.- You develop customized insurance solutions by identifying, evaluating, and analyzing risks, and by collecting the necessary data.- You process telephone and written requests from our distribution partners and clients, and manage associated tasks.- You develop and maintain your network with brokers, agencies, and clients, notably through on-site visits, thanks to your dynamism and willingness to reach out to others.- You are actively involved in the development of our products and participate in projects.What you bring- Commercial employee certificate (CFC) or higher degree, ideally supplemented by initial professional experience in the insurance sector or in a technical field.- Initial experience in the technical field of insurance constitutes a significant asset.- Strong interest in guarantee insurance and activities related to underwriting.- Openness to new tasks as well as a willingness to continuously improve and acquire new skills.- Excellent command of French and English; knowledge of German is an asset.Additional information- This position is available part-time or full-time: 80 - 100%.- Location: Lausanne, Crissier.- Hybrid work: up to 40%.- We look forward to receiving your online application - even if you do not meet all the requirements.
