To the Head of the Soil Competence Center (CCSols) At HAFL, a department of BFH, we bring together humans and technology to promote sustainable development. We manage, along with the (OFEV, ARE, OFAG), the Soil Competence Center (CCSols), a specialized body of the Federation and the cantons. CCSols enhances the necessary foundations for implementing measures that promote sustainability and soil protection, supporting authorities in the work of the Soil Competence Center (CCSols). Your areas of activity with us Lead the Soil Competence Center CCSols in human, financial, and service offerings to the clients (OFEV, ARE, OFAG) and ensure the efficient implementation of the resulting agreements by the staff and the CCSols, including the establishment of reports and reporting. Ensure regular communication with the representatives of the clients regarding the progress of activities and priorities. Ensure close collaboration with the clients, the cantons, and other stakeholders (notably the expert communities and mapping offices). Ensure the visibility and reputation of CCSols externally, as well as the promotion of its expertise, ideally. HES, university, or ETH degree, preferably in pedology or a related field. Very good knowledge and previous experience in managing complex, large-scale projects, including financial and resource management. Modern leadership design and experience in management, preferably leading teams of considerable size, combined with high social competence. Strong sense of public service in favor of the Federation and the cantons. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement; comfort speaking in front of an audience (conferences, round tables, etc.). Good command of French and German. Ideally, an established network in the field of activity of CCSols and good knowledge of Swiss policies regarding soil protection, spatial planning, agriculture, and the environment, as well as experience with relevant federal and cantonal institutions. Some of our activities involve research in collaboration with the environment; we develop solutions useful to the economy, culture, and society in general, on regional, Swiss, and international levels.
