Find out more about our news via our website.Your missionsAs a Socio-educational Referent, you will play a central role in monitoring children, new colleagues, and local coordination at your workplace.Your main responsibilities will include:Supervision:- Plan, organize, and lead activities.- Propose projects and activities in a team that promote children's development and autonomy, while ensuring their emotional and physical safety.Promote development and coordination:- Ensure fluid communication with local partners, particularly parents, teachers, and school canteens.- Accompany new staff during their integration.- Collaborate with your sector manager to transmit necessary information.Management:- Lead team meetings, prepare agendas, and write meeting minutes, validate attendance lists, manage financial resources, and accounts (CCP account) within your perimeter.You will be the driving force of an environment centered on children.Profile we are looking for:Required skills- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) in socio-educational work or an equivalent qualification.- At least two years of experience in an equivalent position.- Mastery of the French language, both oral and written (minimum B2 level).- IT skills: Good command of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).Specific conditions- Ability to consume meals provided by the workplace.- A valid work permit or Swiss identity document.- Standard criminal record, special criminal record, and certificate of good conduct will be requested as part of the recruitment process.Personal and interpersonal qualities- A constructive approach with children and the ability to create a positive and evolving bond, while allowing them to develop within a clear and secure framework.- Respectful communication with partners and the team in line with institutional values.- Self-control and a great capacity for listening and empathy.What we offer you:Development opportunities:- Various continuous training and coaching to develop professional skills.- Opportunities for advancement within the institution.Stimulating environment:- Collaborative work with committed teams and participation in projects.- Autonomy in the function: coordination of local partners to enrich your projects.Why join GIAP?By joining GIAP, you are joining an organization recognized for its institutional values and its commitment to Geneva children and families for 30 years.
