To strengthen its team, the Courtelary Social Action Service is advertising a position of
Social Worker at 80%
Start date: 1 October 2026 or by agreement
Your mission:
- You provide social work for the protection of children and adults
- You manage guardianship mandates for minors and adults and conduct social investigations
- In social assistance, you inform and support people in need, and prepare budgets according to current standards
Our requirements:
- You hold a university of applied sciences degree in the social field or an equivalent qualification; ongoing training would be an asset
- You possess a driving licence and a private vehicle (essential condition)
- You have a sense of organisation and know how to rely on people’s resources
- You have administrative and organisational skills
- You have professional experience in the social field
- You are a native French or German speaker, with excellent knowledge of the other language being essential
- You have the ability to integrate and work in a team
- You are Swiss or hold a valid permit
