Eben-Hézer Lausanne has been welcoming and supporting people with intellectual disabilities for over 125 years. It promotes a positive view of people with disabilities and applies its expertise to support their participation and inclusion in society. Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Eben-Hézer Foundation, a private law organisation, non-profit and recognised as being of public interest.
To complete the educational team of the RE Sector, 3 living places for residents with disabilities with associated psychiatric disorders and/or ageing, we are looking for a Social Educator, ASE, ASSC or Nurse (M/F) at a 60%-80% activity rate.
Mission
You contribute to the well-being of the residents, ensuring them the greatest possible autonomy in their journey and a living environment that meets their needs and desires. You guarantee daily educational support. You aim to increase, maintain or accompany the loss of their skills depending on the situations. You support them in their social and institutional integration. This mission is carried out in a multidisciplinary team and in active collaboration with the social network.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement educational strategies adapted to the needs of the residents
Work in an interdisciplinary manner to address complex and heterogeneous issues
Provide assistance to residents in basic care and daily living activities
Perform delegated care and medical-technical acts in accordance with your level of competence
Participate in the selection, organisation and animation of leisure and recreational activities
Encourage the integration of the resident's relatives in the development and monitoring of their individual project.
Actively collaborate with internal and external networks
Ensure administrative tasks related to the team and residents
Desired Profile
Degree in social education (HES, ES, Specialised Pedagogy), ASE or ASSC CFC essential
Experience in supporting people with loss of autonomy and associated disorders and/or in care
Ease in teamwork and communication, task organisation; reliability
Interest in developing communication tools adapted to residents suffering from language disorders, for individualised support and regular coordination of group activities
Strong motivation for developing new educational actions
Good knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office programmes
Category B driving licence desired
