The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's early childhood policy by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting the childcare structures it subsidises. To complete our teams in the Marie Goegg-Pouchoulin early childhood sector, which includes two nurseries, a parent-child space, and a kindergarten, totalling 171 places, we are looking for


Social-Educational Assistants at 50-80%




Your mission and responsibilities

- Welcome and support beneficiaries, aiming to provide a quality service in the nursery, in accordance with current standards.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational actions linked to the institutional and pedagogical project of the Early Childhood Service.

- Supervise and evaluate trainees or apprentices in the socio-educational field.

- Welcome and participate in exchanges with persons representing children.

- Participate in reflection groups.

- (Early Childhood = children aged 0 to 4 years)

Your profile

- Hold a recognised diploma as a social-educational assistant.
- Demonstrate strong listening skills, good stress management, and ease in communication.
- Show initiative and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in English is an asset.
