Sociocultural Assistant is a pioneering and reference institution for home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to individuals of all ages, of which 25% are under 65. With trained and committed professionals, including more than 50 teams deployed throughout the canton, the IMAD's mission is to meet the needs of individuals and their desire to remain at home independently while preserving their quality of life during periods of temporary or prolonged fragility. It also contributes to limiting the duration of hospital stays, facilitating the return home, and relieving family caregivers. Recognized for its expertise and quality of care, IMAD trains new healthcare professionals and offers many opportunities for continuing education. It provides a flexible work environment that promotes the balance between professional and private life and conditions that encourage skill development as well as the sharing of knowledge and experiences. For the Temporary Respite Care Units / 2 positions at 50% / on a fixed-term contract. To allow family caregivers a time of respite, we offer short-term stays and ensure continuity of care provided at home. Care and support for clients are tailored to their physical health needs and activity levels: 2 Social and Educational Assistants at 50% with day hours (9 AM - 5:30 PM) alternately, with 1 weekend of work every 2 weeks. Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, organize, and animate individual and collective activities aimed at stimulating clients' cognitive, physical, social, and emotional abilities. Adapt activities to the level of autonomy, rhythm, and wishes of each person. Encourage and enhance competencies and support the maintenance of autonomy. Observe reactions and progress during activities and communicate relevant information to the multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with care and support teams to ensure consistent and comprehensive care.Qualifications: 2 years of experience in the socio-health sector desired Ability to work autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary team Sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills, good listening ability Capacity to assess situations and act responsibly Resistance to stress and physical work Ease with regular mobility within the canton, driving license What we offer: At IMAD, we believe that well-being is essential.
