The Municipality of Estavayer is looking for a Qualified Worker in the Roads and Green Spaces Sector, 100%. Based in Lully, the Roads and Green Spaces Sector maintains approximately 240 kilometers of roads, several sports fields, and cemeteries throughout the municipal territory year-round. It also takes care of all communal green spaces, floral displays in the city, roundabouts, and the famous rose garden. Lastly, the sector carries out general road work, such as waste management and cleanliness responsibilities.As a qualified worker, you will carry out all maintenance work in the city, such as maintaining green spaces (trimming, pruning) and floral work. You will be responsible for maintaining the streets, sidewalks, and squares of the Municipality, as well as the machinery park, Service vehicles, the cemetery, and public toilets (as a substitute). You will also be required to set up and carry out clean-ups, collaborate on various tasks, update specific inventories, and participate in the various emergency services.Profile:- CFC in horticulture/landscaping- CFC as an operator with experience in road work and/or horticulture, or any other trade relevant to the function- Experience in maintaining green spaces- Good public contact skills - Team spirit, ability to work independently- Versatility with the ability to adapt (to hours) and availability- Attention to cleanliness and hygiene- Hold a driver's license (if required)Start date: July 1st or to be agreed upon.Information: Mr. X, Head of the Roads and Green Spaces Sector, the municipality of the canton of Fribourg.
