Penitentiary Service (SPNE) - Specialized Office - Short-term sentences unitPenitentiary Service (SPNE) - Office for the Execution of Penal Sanctions (OESP)The OESP performs the tasks devolved by the penal code to the execution authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes decisions regarding the execution of penal sanctions pronounced against adults. It ensures the monitoring and control of the execution of decisions from a perspective of risk and resource management, prevention of the commission of new offenses, and support for social reintegration. It is in charge of electronic surveillance.MissionsAs part of your role, you ensure the execution of detention and penal sanctions pronounced against adults, namely custodial sentences of up to 6 months and substitute custodial sentences. You ensure the analysis and management of files for convicted persons, from a perspective of monitoring and prevention of recidivism. You plan the execution of sanctions as well as their follow-up, while coordinating interventions and the network of involved partners. In this capacity, you conduct hearings, interviews, and draft reports, as well as administrative or judicial decisions necessary for the proper conduct of files. Finally, you ensure tasks related to electronic surveillance, including the maintenance of the equipment, the training of your colleagues, as well as travel to the homes of the persons being monitored to attach the device to the body and manage alerts in case of non-compliance with the profile.ProfileHolder of a commercial professional diploma or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee supplemented by a certificate as a legal secretary, or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a prison officer, you have a few years of professional experience in the legal, social, or administrative fields. Your analytical, writing, and synthesis skills are recognized and are accompanied by a great capacity for organization as well as the ability to evolve in a demanding work environment. In addition, your ease of communication allows you to represent the authority with clarity and professionalism, even in sensitive contexts or with varied interlocutors. Knowledge of foreign languages is an asset. Requirements: Swiss citizenship or valid work permit; clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register.
