Beschreibung
The Swiss Salvation Army Foundation, as a major non-profit social organisation and Church, provides accessible and straightforward support to people in difficult life situations. The IT Operations sector of the Swiss Salvation Army Foundation ensures reliable, structured, and customer-oriented IT support for the entire organisation. As a Service Desk employee, you are a central point of contact for IT requests, incident resolution, and service request handling. You contribute significantly to the recognition of the Service Desk as a professional and competent service centre organisation-wide.
Your area of responsibility
You analyse and process incoming tickets in the ITSM tool, perform initial diagnostics, and resolve incidents independently or redirect them in a targeted manner. You assist internal and external users by phone, remotely, or on-site and document all requests comprehensively. You also analyse issues related to the Microsoft 365 environment and the network, support the team in complex cases, and actively participate in optimising processes and workflows in IT Service Management.
What you bring
You have completed training in the field of IT or hold an equivalent qualification with several years of experience in IT support. You work independently, in a structured, solution- and customer-oriented manner, and maintain an overview even under high workload. Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft
365, networks, switches, routers, and WLAN is required. You communicate fluently in French or German and have very good knowledge of the other language. Team spirit, a sense of responsibility, discretion in handling sensitive data, and the ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously characterise you. Furthermore, you identify with the vision, mission, tasks, and Christian values of the Salvation Army.
What we offer you
We offer you a rewarding position within the largest private non-profit social organisation, equipped with modern IT infrastructures. You benefit from regular working hours within the Service Desk opening times, flexible working models, and the possibility of remote work in agreement with your line manager. A collegial environment, short decision-making processes, and opportunities for professional development complete our offer.
