We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Workplace Senior - Windows EnvironmentBe your best with BechtleOn behalf of our banking client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Workplace Senior - Windows Environment, responsible for administering and evolving the Windows environment, as well as handling complex level 3 incidents.Mission- Administer and maintain user profiles, preferences, and personalized settings in VDI environments and on physical workstations.- Guarantee the accessibility, security, and proper functioning of a large portfolio of modern and legacy applications on the Workplace.- Collaborate with packaging and engineering teams to ensure the consistency of applications and their proper integration into the environment.- Optimize the user experience, particularly login times, workstation performance, and application availability.- Take charge of complex incidents escalated by level 2 support, conduct necessary investigations, and ensure follow-up until their complete resolution.- Analyze recurring incidents, document solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Workplace environment, support processes, and service quality.Profile- Confirmed experience in the administration of a Windows Workplace environment, with a strong focus on user profiles and performance.- Mastery of a profile and environment management solution such as Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager, Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix, or a comparable technology.- Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex incidents affecting user profiles, settings, performance, or session opening.- Knowledge of VDI environments; experience with App Volumes or a comparable application delivery solution is a plus.- Mastery of diagnostic tools such as Procmon, Wireshark, or Fiddler, complemented by good PowerShell skills and an understanding of network concepts useful for troubleshooting.- Technical curiosity, autonomy, sense of service, and excellent communication skills with the ability to spontaneously meet users and internal teams to understand their needs and build adapted solutions.- Residence in Switzerland for the start of the assignment.Conditions- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a comprehensive pension plan.- Development and enhancement of potential: wide range of professional and personal training offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Suisse SABechtle Suisse SA has certified skills in the areas: IT Infrastructure, IT Management, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
