We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Senior System Engineer (f/m/d)On behalf of our client based in Fribourg, we are looking for a Senior System Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring advanced support and the evolution of hosting, storage, and backup infrastructures.Mission- Ensure the operation and evolution of VMware vSphere, storage, and backup infrastructures within the Infrastructure sector.- Take charge of level 3 incidents, ensure their analysis, resolution, documentation, and knowledge transfer to lower support levels.- Participate in tasks, missions, and projects related to hosting infrastructures, in collaboration with the engineering team.- Develop and integrate automations using PowerShell, Ansible, and Control-M, while respecting established standards and guidelines.- Keep manuals, procedures, and work instructions up to date for the teams, with occasional availability for interventions at night, on weekends, and on public holidays.Profile- Confirmed experience in system engineering, specifically in the management of hosting infrastructures.- Expertise in VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and PowerShell, with the ability to intervene in complex environments.- Knowledge of backup solutions, notably Veritas NetBackup and/or Dell PPDM; knowledge of NetApp is an asset.- Knowledge of Ansible, ideally AWX, as well as Control-M; Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure IaaS, Confluence, and Jira Service Management are assets.- Understanding of ITIL and/or HERMES processes; certification in one of these frameworks, as well as from Microsoft or VMware publishers, is appreciated.- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills in French, with autonomy, team spirit, adaptability, and good resistance to stress.Proposal- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a comprehensive pension plan.- Development and enhancement of potential: vast range of professional and personal training offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Suisse SABechtle Suisse SA has certified skills in the fields: IT Infrastructure, IT Management, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
