Introduction
The Building Metallurgy Pension Foundation (FPMB), based in Geneva, is a key player in the field of occupational pension provision in Switzerland. We are looking for a Senior Manager in Occupational Pension Provision to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of ensuring the financial security of our members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the processing and follow-up of cases related to old-age, disability and death benefits.
- Manage cases of vested benefits transfers, home ownership promotion (EPL), divorce, buybacks, contributions as well as situations of incapacity for work.
- Respond to insured persons’ requests by phone, in writing and in person.
- Check and validate files processed by the management team.
- Participate in the preparation and control of technical and administrative closures.
- Analyse requests for offers and changes to pension plans, and provide appropriate responses.
- Actively contribute to continuous process improvement projects as well as to the development of the Foundation.
Qualifications
The ideal profile for this position has the following qualifications:
- Proven experience of at least 10 to 15 years in occupational pension management within a pension fund or an insurance company.
- Federal diploma as a specialist in occupational pension provision or social insurance, an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of the mechanisms of the Swiss occupational pension system (LPP).
- Very good numerical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and common IT tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Sense of responsibility, rigour and initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer orientation.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; German or other languages, an advantage.
- Dynamic, committed personality with an excellent sense of service.
