Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT professional to take operational ownership of the school's day-to-day IT environment.
This is a senior, campus- based technical position combining systems administration, enterprise networking and high-quality user support.

The role requires sound technical judgement, clear communication and the ability to plan, prioritise and
deliver work with limited day-to-day supervision. It is a hands-on position rather than a people-management role.

Endpoint \& Device Management
- Administer Windows endpoints through Microsoft Intune, including enrolment, device configuration, application deployment, policy application and troubleshooting.
- Support Apple Macs and iPads through Jamf and maintain compliant, reliable device configurations in accordance with Group standards.
- Manage provisioning, deployment, replacement, patching and end-of-life processes for staff and shared school devices.
Networking \& Infrastructure
- Provide hands-on operation and advanced troubleshooting of the campus wired and wireless network, including switches, access points, network connectivity and related services.

- Diagnose issues involving TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switching, routing fundamentals, wireless authentication and Internet connectivity; distinguish endpoint, local-network and upstream service faults.
- Carry out approved network changes, equipment replacements and site deployments in coordination with Regional or Global IT; maintain accurate configurations and documentation.
- Work with connectivity and network service providers to restore service and prevent repeat incidents.
User Support \& Classroom Technology
- Provide second-line and senior escalation support for complex Windows, Microsoft 365, endpoint, classroom AV/interactive display and peripheral issues, while remaining responsive to urgent day-to-day support needs.
- Help teachers and staff use school technology effectively; communicate incident status and practical workarounds in accessible, non-technical language.
- Support PaperCut MF / Find-Me printing and cloud telephony, coordinating specialist suppliers where required.
Security, Documentation \& Projects
- Maintain IT asset records, operational procedures, technical documentation and useful knowledge-base articles.
