Senior SAP MES Project Manager - Pharma Contract: 12+ months B2B Freelance, possible extensionLocation: 100% remoteTravel: Occasional travel to European client sites, fully paid by the client The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP MES implementation and transformation projects within a European pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role will work across IT, manufacturing, quality, business and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of MES solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP MES implementation and transformation projects. Manage project planning, governance, budgets, risks, issues and timelines. Lead cross-functional teams and manage internal and external stakeholders/vendors. Ensure MES solutions meet manufacturing, quality, compliance and business requirements. Coordinate SAP/MES integration, testing, validation and deployment activities. Provide clear project reporting and governance to senior stakeholders. Key Requirements Strong Senior IT Project Management experience. Proven SAP experience. Experience delivering MES projects; specific MES platform is open. Recent experience in Pharma/Life Sciences or regulated manufacturing, ideally within the last 5 years. Strong stakeholder, vendor, budget and risk management experience.
