The Hôpitaux Vaudois (Senior Engineer / Developer, FHVi) is the preferred partner of 12 hospitals and regional health institutions in the canton of Vaud. The FHVi supports them in the numerous challenges of digital transformation in the healthcare sector and its main missions are to plan, design, implement, and operate the information system for its members. There are more than 120 employees serving these institutions for a fleet of more than 5,000 workstations spread over a hundred geographical sites and across three cantons (VD, VS, FR).The Senior Engineer / Developer position is open to all applicants. By joining our team in charge of interoperability, you will contribute, with the help of our architecture unit, to the interoperability of our information system in the healthcare domain.Your mission:The goal of the position is to maintain and evolve our interfaces to ensure their sustainability and reliability. You will play a key role in managing interoperability flows and the connection between the different components of our information system.Main activities and responsibilities:- Collaborate with the enterprise architect to evolve interoperability standards and technical architectures.- Design and implement interoperability flows in collaboration with project managers and business analysts.- Ensure the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of interfaces and guarantee their reliability.- Plan and carry out technical updates and migrations of interfaces.- Define and control development and deployment rules.- Write and maintain technical documentation.- Participate in the resolution of level 3 support incidents related to interfaces.- Perform technological monitoring on protocols and data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.).Required profile:Engineering degree in computer science (HES / EPF) or equivalent experience.Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration, ETL, or development oriented towards Apache NiFi (a plus).- Experience in heterogeneous systems and flow management.- Hospital or healthcare environment experience appreciated.- Autonomy and ability to manage missions from end to end, including N3 run and support.Technical skills:- Mastery of exchanges via REST API and/or knowledge of SOA, Microservices, and API architectures.- Knowledge of Mirth.- Solid knowledge of databases: MSSQL, MongoDB, etc.- Skills in development and data manipulation (SQL, XML, JSON, Groovy).- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) appreciated.Behavioral skills:- Ability to work autonomously on flows.- Aptitude for synthesis and analysis of complex problems.- Good communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.- Structured, methodical, and solution-oriented.- Respect for internal procedures and standards.Languages:- French: Mastery of spoken and written, reliable writing skills.- English: Reliable professional expression.What we offer:- A stimulating opportunity to evolve in the healthcare sector, a constantly evolving and meaningful field.- The possibility to actively contribute to ambitious projects related to the ongoing digital transformation.- A pleasant working environment within a human-sized organization, where team spirit and proximity are valued.- Employment conditions with regular salary progression adapted to responsibilities, in accordance with the personnel regulations in force at the FHVi, including:- A 13th month salary.- Competitive social benefits.- 25 days of vacation per year (30 days from the year of turning 50).- Access to continuous training to support your development.- Possibility of teleworking.- Easy access by public transport.Looking for your next adventure?Apply now and join our team! jid6ef6da6aen jit0625aen jpiy26aen
