# (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist #

### Your Role ###

As a (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are in a team which develops enhancements and new solutions not only for our group-wide execution trading system (FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS and Avaloq) but also for surrounding systems. Additionally, you provide customization and workflow definition tasks, mainly for FIX interfaces, including project management work.

### Your Responsibilities ###

* Customize FIX interfaces
* Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading systems, e.g. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS (market access, order routing, settlement) and Avaloq
* Implement, configure and test new functionalities
* Analyse and support on business level
* Create technical documentation

### Your Profile ###

* Higher education (university / FH) in IT or natural sciences, with 5 years of practical experience in the field of FIX interfaces
* Required industry specific knowledge as well as basic knowledge in Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX) 
* Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption and profound IT-affinity, in particular with Windows NOS, TCP/IP
* Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite; Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and/or Python is an advantage
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with various stakeholders and willingness to take responsibility
* Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
* Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
