Senior Electronics EngineerBased in the Canton of Neuchâtel, Micro-Cameras & Space has been a trusted solutions provider in the field of space for over 20 years. Specializing in imaging systems, we have developed numerous space instruments with partners such as ESA, NASA, CNES, and major space actors like Airbus Defense and Space, Thales Alenia Space and OHB. Our contributions have supported missions to the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, a comet nucleus (Rosetta), the Space and Earth. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team to contribute to the development of cutting-edge space technologies.Responsibilities- Lead the development of hardware architectures and ensure compliance with space industry standards.- Design, develop, and test advanced electronic systems with a focus on imaging systems.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including firmware, mechanical, optical and software engineers, to deliver solutions.- Perform analysis, simulation, and verification of electronic designs to ensure reliability in extreme environments.- Support the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and participate in technical reviews and provide expertise to ensure project milestones are met.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.Requirements- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- At least 7 years of experience in electronics design, preferably in the aerospace or high-reliability sector.- Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, including FPGA-based systems.- Proficiency in using electronic design tools such as Altium Designer.- Experience with electronics manufacturing and space qualification processes is a strong advantage.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.- Knowledge of ECSS/NASA/MIL/IPC standards.- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.Benefits- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge space projects.- Stimulating and dynamic work environment in the heart of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.- Professional development opportunities and access to cutting-edge technologies.- Direct contribution to space missions in Earth orbit, to the Moon and beyond.If you are passionate about space and have the skills and experience to contribute to our mission, we would love to hear from you.
