Description
For our client, a company in the insurance industry based in Bern, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for IoT Products for a permanent role.
Your responsibilities:
- You are responsible for designing, building and maintaining the data infrastructure behind our product
- You have a direct influence on the further development of algorithms by our Data Science team
- With your work, you ensure robust, economical and scalable data through our data pipelines
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, IT or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of big data processing frameworks (Apache Spark), CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and DevOps
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud data engineering, ideally with Auzre
- Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
- Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, we can only consider applications from Swiss nationals, EU citizens as well as current work-permit holders for Switzerland
