Join the Compliance department team at the Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE), an Authentic, Courageous, and Equitable bank.As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be in charge of, among other things, the analysis of the bank's AML (Anti-Money Laundering) risks and 2nd line of defense control activities in the field of trade finance transactions, qualified tax offenses, and market abuse. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of controls and missions.- Drafting the bank's annual AML risk analysis- Permanent monitoring of AML risks and proposal of adapted measures- 2nd level controls of unusual movements related to trade finance, qualified tax offenses, and market abuse- Reference point for tools related to control areas under your responsibility, including their update and functional testing of tools during releases and developments- Management and updating of the bank's list of high-risk countries- Drafting the annual compliance report- Participation in defining the rules for the sanctions filtering tool- Updating compliance guides and processes- AML analyses, reporting to MROS, and other Compliance tasksYour profile- University degree in law (Bachelor and/or Master in law, ideally supplemented by a specialization in banking, financial, or regulatory law)- Confirmed experience in the banking sector, with proven expertise in compliance, particularly in terms of AML, CDB, KYC/KYT, as well as market abuse- Excellent understanding and transversal vision of compliance activities within a universal bank- Very good writing skills as well as solid analytical and synthesis skills- Critical mind and ability to formulate relevant proposals and defend them with conviction- Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in communication- Sense of priorities and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously- Strong ability to analyze data and ability to work both in a multidisciplinary team and autonomously- Very good command of IT tools and advanced command of ExcelOur employment conditions- Activity rate: 100 %- Type of contract: Indefinite duration- Workplace: Geneva- Start date: As soon as possibleWant to know more about the BCGE as an employer?Consult our Careers page jid84ecb52aen jit0728aen jpiy26aen
