Role : Cloud Data Platform Engineer (GCP)
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration : till end of the year 2026

Required experience
Cloud & platform engineering

8+ years building, scaling and maintaining complex systems.
4+ years designing cloud and/or data platforms.
Strong hands-on GCP experience, including BigQuery, GCS, IAM, Cloud Run and networking.
Linux, Docker and Bash scripting expertise.
Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD
3+ years of production Terraform experience.
Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows.
Experience automating cloud deployments and operational processes. Observability & data
3+ years implementing enterprise monitoring solutions.
Strong Dynatrace expertise across infrastructure, applications and data pipelines.
Experience with JVM-based applications; Spark is highly desirable.
Understanding of data engineering and data science concepts.
Communication & leadership
Excellent spoken and written English; Dutch is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder communication and mentoring skills.
Proactive, ownership-driven and focused on quality and continuous improvement.
Comfortable working on-site three days per week.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud certification.
• Experience with serverless architectures, FinOps or developer-platform "golden paths".
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, particularly GitHub Copilot.
