Experience: • 6+ years of business-analysis experience, including 4+ years in life insurance, life and pensions, or life and annuities. • Strong knowledge of the life-insurance policy lifecycle, including new business, underwriting, policy servicing, billing/collections, claims, renewals, and payouts. • Experience working with life-insurance products such as term life, whole life, unit-linked/universal life, endowment, pensions, annuities, riders, and group life. • Proven experience delivering large-scale system implementations, policy-administration modernisation, data migration, digital onboarding, workflow automation, or regulatory initiatives. • Experience working with senior stakeholders across product, underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, compliance, operations, and technology. Technical fluency: • Hands-on experience with life-insurance policy administration systems; experience with platforms such as Guidewire, Sapiens, LifeAsia, TIA, Fadata, V3locity, or equivalent is an advantage. • Strong requirements-management capability: BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro, BPMN, and Microsoft Office tools. • Comfortable analysing data using SQL, Excel, and reporting/BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. • Good understanding of system integrations, APIs, data mapping, data quality, testing, and release processes. • Exposure to actuarial calculations, premium/rate rules, commissions, illustrations, reinsurance, finance, or regulatory reporting is highly valued. Ways of working: • Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience, with the ability to operate effectively in hybrid or Waterfall environments. • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, able to challenge constructively and build alignment across business and technology teams. • Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented, with the ability to simplify complex insurance processes and decisions. • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, resolving ambiguity, and mentoring junior business analysts. • Strong awareness of data protection, regulatory obligations, risk controls, auditability, and customer outcomes in insurance delivery. Qualifications: • University degree in business, finance, insurance, actuarial science, information technology, or a related field. • Professional certifications such as IIBA CBAP/CCBA, LOMA/FLMI, Agile Product Owner, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, or BPMN are advantageous. • Fluent English & French required. • Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
