Senior Automation Engineer – DeltaV / Pharma (m/f/d)

Your Opportunity
For our client, an international pharmaceutical manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer (m/f/d) to support and optimize automation systems in a GMP-regulated production environment.
In this role, you will work with advanced process automation technologies, support manufacturing operations and contribute to automation projects within a highly regulated industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and optimize DeltaV control strategies and Batch Recipes.
- Support automation systems including DeltaV DCS, PAS-X MES and Ignition SCADA.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Support commissioning, qualification and validation activities in a GMP environment.
- Implement automation changes and support continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and external partners.
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in automation controls, ideally including 3+ years in Pharma, Biotech or another regulated industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV Batch, including ISA-88 / ISA-95.
- Experience with GMP, GAMP 5, CSV and Change Control.
- Knowledge of Cytiva ÄKTA ready / Sartorius BioSMB equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience with PAS-X, PI Historian, Ignition or Kneat eVal is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1).
