Our client, a company based in Geneva, is looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client, a company based in Geneva, is looking for an experienced professional capable of managing the complete accounting of an entity autonomously and leading closings in an international environment. This position is not suitable for an assistant accountant or junior accountant profile. Proven experience in general accounting and closings is essential.Senior AccountantFederal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Expert Accountant diploma or equivalent.Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in general accounting, including experience in Switzerland in an industrial or multi-entity environment.Excellent command of accounting standards, closings, and financial controls.Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.Fluent French and good level of English.Mastery of an ERP; knowledge of ProConcept is an asset.Ensure full accounting responsibility for a group entity.Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.Guarantee the reliability of financial statements and accounting entries.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.Prepare VAT returns and ensure follow-up of payments.Manage relationships with internal and external auditors.Collaborate with the Finance teams of the various subsidiaries.Propose improvements to accounting processes. jidae7a79daen jit0833aen jpiy26aen
