Autocorner SA is a family business active in the automotive distribution of the Audi, Škoda and BYD brands. With nearly 120 employees and several subsidiaries in French-speaking Switzerland (Vaud and Valais), our Group continues its development and continuously strengthens its activities.
As part of a strategic growth phase marked by the integration of a new brand, the creation of a new company, as well as the implementation of a new accounting ERP (Abacus) and a new DMS, we are strengthening our Finance department and are looking for an experienced Accountant - Right Hand to the Head of Accounting at 50-60% who wishes to commit sustainably to a versatile and responsible role.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to progressively develop comprehensive expertise across the entire accounting cycle and to become a true reference within our Finance department.

Experienced Accountant - Right Hand to the Head of Accounting at 50-60%
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will play a key role within the team as a true right hand, with increasing autonomy over all accounting processes.
General Accounting
- Independently manage the complete general accounting of our new company
- Actively participate in the general accounting of Autocorner SA in collaboration with the Head of Accounting
- Perform reconciliations, controls and periodic closing entries
- Ensure the quality, reliability and consistency of accounting data
Closings and Reporting
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual closings
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management
- Gradually develop the autonomy necessary to manage a full annual closing
Support and Operational Continuity
- Substitute for the Head of Accounting during absences and holidays
- Provide operational support to other members of the accounting team and cover for them in case of absence
- Ensure continuity of the Finance department's activities
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in projects to optimise, digitalise and improve accounting processes
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the Group's new tools
- Be proactive in proposing improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of internal procedures
Your Profile
- Federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or equivalent training (an asset)
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in general accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting principles
- Experience in preparing and participating in annual closings
- Good command of IT tools, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Abacus is a significant advantage
- Analytical mind, rigour and sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork
- Discretion, reliability and excellent priority management
- Resident in the region
