For one of our clients based in the Canton of Geneva, we are offering a position as:Senior AccountantFor a fixed-term 80% - 100% AccountantDESCRIPTION OF THE MISSIONThe role brings a hands-on and detail-oriented approach to general accounting, with the ability to follow instructions, manage priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and prepare key financial reports in English, including Payroll, Trial Balances, Balance Sheets, and Profit and Loss Accounts up to closing level.- Ability to work in a confidential and professional manner, with strong attention to detail- Contribute to a cohesive team, promoting a positive work ethic and supporting others in the office where relevant- Ability to work across a range of businesses from an accounting perspective- Trustworthy individual who requires minimal supervision- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and French- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines accordingly- Maintain cash and bank account reports- Manage accounts payable and advise the Director on payments to be made- Prepare periodic trial balances, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts for the Company and its group companies- Prepare accounts for the Group- Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts- Prepare variance analysis between budgeted and actual performance- Prepare reports, monitor expenditure, and report accordingly- Maintain the filing system for the Finance department- Prepare any other monthly financial reports- Carry out any other tasks as requested by the DirectorsPROFILERequirement: Degree in Accounting and 10 years of experience in a similar role, with thorough knowledge of Excel, Word, and fluency in English and French. jid387a003aen jit0416aen jpiy26aen
