The department aims to ensure the management and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG, including cleaning and disinfection of premises and laundry hygiene. It also manages the biomedical and equipment service as well as Cressy-Santé. More than professionals perform their daily missions with a constant concern for excellence, with a sense of service and responsibility. Within the department, the cleaning and hygiene service takes care of the cleaning and disinfection of facilities, rooms, and beds with a highly qualified team and measures to prevent hospital infections. The waste treatment, maintenance of gardens, and management of the roads are also part of the activities of the cleanliness and hygiene sector manager. You will ensure the management and control of activities within your perimeter. Together with the team leaders, you will plan and optimize human resources in the sector and oversee the smooth conduct of activities, coordinate, support, and evaluate team leaders while guaranteeing the quality of services at all times, following current procedures and the needs of the patients. You will maintain a positive working environment, encourage teamwork and leadership among your teams. On a daily basis, you will embody the values of trust, respect, team spirit, recognition, and equality and regularly lead meetings that encourage clear communication and suggestions. You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality and efficiency in services and ensure the management of equipment and machinery resources. Moreover, you will contribute to the financial management of the sector and prepare reports and dashboards. You will conduct studies at the request of management and may need to intervene outside of working hours. You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a CAS in management. You possess good knowledge of standard tools, including Outlook, and have successful experience of several years in leading teams, ideally acquired in a hospital, hotel, or facility services environment. Recognized for your leadership abilities, you demonstrate a strong sense of dialogue and fairness, ease, and confirmed competence in management and supervision.
